Exploration and monitoring the user sentiments and response to terrorism events via Twitter

Recently using social media especially Twitter to conducting sentiment analysis to determine the attitude of the people to some topics it draw more attention. Extremist groups in Arabic conflict zone have already had success in utilizing technology by using the social media for recruiting, distribution of terrorist information and tactics.

This led to increasing numbers of Muslims especially Saudi youth or Arabs who are seeking for join to extreme groups for AL jihad. In addition, I described the proposed approach will use it for sentiment analysis to measure the amount of empathy or rejection to the activities of extremist groups and to predict the amount of local support to jihadist ideas.

In figure the volume of tweets stated ISIS or "داعش" in one month by Topsy was enough to motivate to make research about extreme groups on Twitter.
